A fact based video with interviews from people that witnessed the run up to the debacle that was the public consultation on the A27 around Chichester in 2016. The 3 interviews cover the history, the pressure and build up to the decision to cancel the consultation and finally the truth of who was involved discovered through Freedom of Information disclosures from the time.

We are joined by David MacLean. On the back of a Natural England condition report into the state of Chichester Harbour an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) we look at the problems being faced by the harbour now. In particular we look at the impact of nitrates and sewage discharges as they affect the harbours today. We will look at the effect of further disastrous development in part 2 of the video next week. Another interview in our series of interviews covering many of the issues that Chichester District Council (CDC) are facing with the production of the local plan. Please remember that this was meant to be presented to the Government examiner in the Summer of 2020. CDC received so many responses and negative comments to the original plan that they have delayed until Spring 2021 and now delayed again until at least 2022 for submission to the examiner. We now hear that there are no problems with the local plan. But do not forget CDC are not facing problems with the local plan - WHAT ARE THEY NOT TELLING US - These videos highlight what we are not being told. Councillor Susan Taylor the deputy leader of Chichester District Council (CDC) and cabinet member for planning as well as the councillor for the Witterings Ward proudly stated on the 05 February 2021. "Some people have said that we are hiding the difficulties we are facing with the plan, but this is absolutely not true." we now are starting to reveal the truth behind the fact that CDC are indeed facing huge difficulties with the plan which has led to it being delayed by a year (as at 28th February 2021) let alone the no doubt imminent announcement of yet another delay any day now.
